Tables and QR codes

Every table has its own current QR code. Closing a bill rotates the code.

Security: Cashier checkout closes the guest session and rotates its QR. The new QR must be displayed for the next group. You must display or print the newly generated QR for the next party. A copied QR can still be used by someone else during the current session.

Orders refresh automatically every four seconds.

Create test tickets without charging a customer or opening a guest session.

Inject a test order

Test orders are flagged DEMO and excluded from the gross order metric. To see the exact customer page, use a table's “Preview as guest” link in Tables & QR. That preview uses the real guest session for that table.
